Fun League wraps up at the Oyen Curling Club

By Jackie Dick

The 2023-24 Fun League at the Oyen and District Curling Club held their final draws on February 27.

The nine teams in the league played 6-end games at 6:30 and 8:00 p.m.

The early draw went to teams with school-aged curlers. This league provides families and recreational curlers a great opportunity to enjoy the sport. Don’t forget the socialization after the game in the lounge.

In charge of the league, Kari Kuzmiski took entries and made the draw for the season. All of the league curlers appreciated that.

Ice techician, Dan McLaughlin, kept the ice in great shape.

The club appreciates all those who came out to curl this season. We hope to see you back next season. If you haven’t curled before but want to try the sport, join us next season.
