Oyen Lodge Report: Change at the Lodge

By Dianne Spath

Hello everyone, a bit of a change at the Lodge: I, Dianne Spath, have taken over for Sara on her maternity leave. I have been training this week to learn about the resident's activity routines, likes, and dislikes.

March weather came in like a lion, and we got a fair bit of snow in the snowstorm. We look forward to getting some warm weather this week and in spring when we can start doing outside activities. The residents are already familiar with me, as I have been hairdressing at the Lodge since 1994 and have also worked in dietary care.

I am looking forward to spending quality time with the residents. We all wish Sara well on her leave; we will miss her and can't wait to have her join us again.
