THE DELIA GAZETTE: Ag Conference and Tradeshow coming to Delia Community Centre

By Lonni Pedneault

Happy Birthday to all you Capricorns and Aquarians born in February! Dellas Raessler (1), Dave Smeyers (14), Nichole Clayholt and Florence Ducommun (17), Merle Morton (25), Brett Seidler (26)! I hope you each have the most marvelous days!

On Jan 22, The Delia Elks hosted a volunteer appreciation dinner prepared by Murray Marshall and helpers. The ham dinner was delicious and it’s amazing to see how many people give of their time and volunteer for the Delia Elks. Kudos to all!

The Delia C2000 Club and Y Not Goats Ltd are bringing new information to Delia and area farmers at the Ag Conference and Tradeshow at the Delia Community Centre on Thursday, February 1 starting at 9:00 am. Things change and environmental laws keep ‘cropping up’. Farmers and ranchers need to arm themselves with new and innovative tools for growth and soil health in all aspects of agriculture. Challenges are plenty! Enjoy a day of information and networking in Delia! Please pre-register – it helps ensure there is enough lunch!
